Lavinia Grant Books
Lavinia Grant has been observing and meticulously recording the natural world of El Karama for over 50 years. A well-known artist, she has also published many books highlighting the wildlife, natural environment and flora and fauna found here on the Conservancy.
A lifelong advocate for sustainability and conservation, Lavinia ensures that her books are printed by a company which shares her values; her recently finished 15 book series was printed by a carbon neutral company using recycled paper.
The books can be purchased at Juttsons Bookshop in Nanyuki, as well as at several lodges in Laikipia, including our own El Karama Lodge. Lavinia very kindly donates all her books to El Karama Wildlife Conservancy to raise money for conservation.
